San Diego Writers, Ink
The spring equinox is one of the four great solar festivals of the year. Day and night are equal, poised and balanced, but about to tip over on the side of light. This is a time of new life—spring arrives, the sun warms, the day lengthens, and the air takes on the scent of freshly turned soil and emerging green. Spring is a time of awakening, of healing and renewal, of the dawning and planning of new ideas.
For our Spring Equinox Writing Retreat, we’ll acknowledge traditional celebrations of the holiday and write of our own awakenings, exploring ideas that may have been hibernating during the long, dark winter nights into the light of the season.
Bring your notebook, your favorite spring blooms, and join us as we welcome Spring.
For fiction and nonfiction writers. Poets, too.
