My Creative Writing Kit series that offers dozens of ideas and suggestions developed and discovered from over twenty-five years of teaching and leading workshops as well as my own experience as a writer. The Kits are designed “Do It Yourself” or DIY so you can download them right from my computer to yours. Practical ideas and inspiration for The Writing Life as well as instruction and workshops in The Craft of Writing are presented in good-looking, easy-to-use kits—ideas, inspiration, exercises, guidelines and more, with a press of a key.
The first four Kits are available now, including How to be a Writer Who Writes; Show, Don’t Tell; Invitations to the Muse; and On Being an Honest Writer. Soon to come: Craft the Perfect Scene, Into the Deep and others. Mine is a rolling production schedule so more Kits will be added as they are created.
I’ve developed and presented scores of workshops and classes over decades of teaching and I’m excited to share some of them with writers in this ready-to-use, easy-to-work-with format. Later kits will include material from my popular “Voice Lessons” series, my Saturday Series of day retreats, and much more.
