fullmoon72The full moon is the time of mystery and creativity, of dream work and prophecy. Beneath August’s Harvest Moon, which is also called Moon When Cherries Turn Black and Barley Moon,* weʼll take to our notebooks and write in outlaw voices. Weʼll recite myths and tell stories and when the time is right and the moon is high above us, weʼll raise our voices in a righteous howl. Bring a friend and join our warm and friendly group of moonstruck writers.

Writers of all levels and all genres are invited to join us for this retreat. We’ll write, writing-practice style, to prompts and exercises beneath the Full Moon on the beautiful patio at Monica’s on the Park.

*Create your own name for your August Full Moon and send me an email with the name of your Moon. I’ll draw from all the entries for a free registration for this workshop. Put “Full Moon Writing Workshop” in the subject line. Deadline: August 13.
