About Judy

I’m a writer, teacher, writing practice provocateur, and occasional blogger. I write books about writing including the award-winning A Writer’s Book of Days and Wild Women, Wild Voices, and work in many other genres as well—currently both memoir and poetry, and I love flash in all its forms. I lead writing groups and teach classes and workshops at writing conferences and retreats internationally and at San Diego Writers, Ink, a nonprofit literary organization I co-founded in 2004.
