Read and critique is a way – possibly the only way—for writers to hear how their writing sounds to others. This is how we discover what is working and what needs work. Workshopping our writing helps us gain necessary perspective, especially in writing the memoir.

This three-month read-and-critique group invites memoirists to bring a few pages of work-in-progress every other week for review and critique by group members and the instructor. The group is limited to six participants and is open to those who have had some read-and-critique workshop experience. We’ll meet every Tuesday afternoon through June 27.

Advance registration is required. No drop-ins.
