At the new year, we stand in on the threshold. Like Janus, Roman god of doorways and gates, we wear two faces: what the old year has been and what we want to create in the new year. With glances over our shoulders to see where we have been, this retreat is a time to look forward, bringing with us what we have learned, what we have loved and what would be better left behind.

The Saturday Series Writing Retreats & Workshops are a time for creative explorations and personal expression in community with other like-spirited writers. Once each month throughout the year we’ll come together for a day of writing in the warm and creative environment of a working artist’s studio. Writers of all levels and experience are invited.
