Equal parts inspiration and practical, Art and Craft—Essentials for Writers, is a six-session class that focuses on both the art (heart) of writing and the craft (making the words work). In our early sessions, we’ll generate new material while simultaneously studying elements of the craft. Lively dialogue and Q&A will allow for attention to specific areas affecting participants’ work. Later sessions will be devoted to read and critique. For writers of fiction, creative nonfiction, and memoir.
