Myth and legend are written in the shadowed rills and rifts of the moon, across her craters and crescents. Disappearing, then reappearing, she casts her silvery light on the earth and inspires poets and lovers, farmers and fishermen. She causes tides to shift and coyotes to howl. She calls us from our beds at night and begs us to tell our tales beneath her celestial glow. Though we’ll retreat during the daylight hours, we’ll fill our notebooks with lunar lore and moon-drenched stories.
The Saturday Series Writing Retreats & Workshops are a time for creative explorations and personal expression in community with other like-spirited writers. Once each month throughout the year we’ll come together for a day of writing in the warm and creative environment of a working artist’s studio. Writers of all levels and experience are invited.
