Geography is my wound. It is also my anchorage. My port of call.

Place influences how we speak, what we eat and how we make love; it shapes our beliefs, our values and our moral choices. We cannot separate who we are from where we are or where we have been. History and memory are rooted in place and the map of our psyche is found in the geography of our past. In this session of  our Saturday Series Workshops & Retreats, we’ll explore places we were born, places we have lived and places that help define who we are. Bring a friend and join us.

The Saturday Series Writing Retreats & Workshops are a time for creative explorations and personal expression in community with other like-spirited writers. Once each month throughout the year we’ll come together for a day of writing in the warm and creative environment of a working artist’s studio. Writers of all levels and experience are invited.
