In this six-week class, we’ll use Anne Lamott’s classic and still best-selling book, Bird by Bird, Some Instructions on Writing and Life as our guide, our muse, and our text. Each session will include a review of the material, discussions, and writing exercises. For those who have read and loved this book, this class is an opportunity to re-read it and work through Lamott’s exercises and suggestions in a group setting, and for those who’ve yet to discover this gem of a writing book, what better way to explore it than with your fellow writers. All level of writers and all genres are invited to participate. A copy of Bird by Bird is required.
