Wild Women, Wild Voices Book Release Party

Saturday, April 11, 2015
5:30-7:30 pm
Plaza at Gallery 17
Liberty Station

WildWomen_cvr_fI’m celebrating the release of my newest book, Wild Women, Wild Voices — Writing from Your Authentic Wildness, and I hope you’ll come celebrate with me.

There’ll be music and refreshments, of course, and readings from some of the Wild Women whose work is included in the book and those who’ve been in the Wild Women writing workshops that inspired the book. You’ll also get a taste of what the book is about and how readers are invited (and I hope compelled) to go on a journey of self-expression of their authentic wildness. There’ll be free gifts, too, and the book will be available for sale.

Everyone is invited. Even though the name of the book is Wild Women, Wild Voices, the party wouldn’t be the same without the men. So many of my friends, both men and women, have supported my work and cheered me on during the writing and production of this book, I want everyone to come so I can thank you and we can celebrate together.

plaza at gallery 17We’ll gather while it’s still daylight on the Plaza at Gallery 17, which is adjacent San Diego Writers, Ink and Inspirations Gallery. Free parking in the lot right next to the Plaza.

I hope to see you there.

Thanks for all your support.

PS If you can’t attend the party and would like to get a copy of the book, you can pre-order here:

    • Thanks for posting Judy. We were Wild Women together way back when we wrote “Women of the Violet Wynn” with those other WW. Look forward to howling with you at the book party.

      • Judy, I am going to bring a copy to the party the DVD of the “Women of the Violet Wynn” that I had made after the first one didn’t work. That’s been a few years ago! Past our 20th Anniversary.

    • Hi Judy, thanks for commenting. I have those good memories, too. In fact, it was, in part, the good memories that inspired the idea of the book. That and the understanding that, with a book, there was so much more to explore. I hope you like the book.
