Every part of our lives is rife with stories, but something about “the ex- factor” always hits a nerve—painful, laughable, heartbreaking, and sometimes, with an audible sigh of relief. One thing it seems all our stories about our “exes” have in common is their richness. For this generative writing workshop we’re going to dip our fingers into that messy richness and spread it all over our pages. We’re going to laugh, we may cry, we’re going to take names and tell tales. There’ll be no censoring in this writing workshop. So bring your memories, your photographs, your mementoes, your old love letters, tarnished rings and tear-stained divorce papers and join a warm and friendly group of writers for a day of hitting the eX spot.
