"Sleeping Gypsy" Henri Rousseau

Sleeping Gypsy by Henri Rousseau

Like our heartbeat and our breath, our intuition continues its work even while we sleep, speaking to us in the language of the night: dreams. Dreams can answer questions and solve problems. They can influence our writing and, in turn, our creative work can alter our dreams. In this retreat we’ll use our notebooks and pens to communicate with the messengers of the night.

One in a series of  Creative Writing Retreats & Workshops which are a time for exploration and personal expression in community with other like-spirited writers. Join us for a half-day (10 am – 3 pm) when we retreat from the outside world to devote ourselves to our writing. We’ll respond to themed prompts, props, and the inspiring words of others to generate new material in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. No experience is necessary; all levels of writers and all genres of expression are invited to bring their work-in-progress, their notebooks or journals, or simply their imaginations for a day of creative work.
