For our final Saturday Series Workshop & Retreat of 2012, we’ll explore Firsts & Lasts. First time you drove a car, left home, saw a dead body, fell in love; last time you left home, traveled alone, made a wish that came true. Life is a series of firsts and lasts, beginnings and endings, finish and start again, and though each one may not seem significant at the time, when memory and imagination spark against each other through free-fall writing, there is always more than enough material to fill a day of writing. Bring your notebook, your journal or your laptop and join us for a December day of exploration and discovery.

The Saturday Series Writing Retreats and Workshops take place monthly at the Lively Muse Studio, 2911 Adams Ave., between University Heights and Normal Heights in Central San Diego. The environment is warm and friendly, just like the writers who attend, and the space invites creativity and community.
