I’m pleased and honored that creativity guru Jill Badonsky invited me to join her for “Electric Skies and Creative Thunder,” workshop in Taos this summer. I’ll be doing a writing workshop and Jill will lead retreaters in her special brand of creative mojo.
At the writing workshop, we’ll create our own electricity and make our own loud noise by putting pen to page and writing our stories in our authentic voices. Here’s how it works: In three sessions over three days, participants in the writing workshop will generate material from in-group exercises that you can continue to develop outside the workshop sessions. You’ll have an opportunity to read your work aloud and receive thoughtful critique from the workshop leader and other participants in a safe, non-threatening environment. Over the course of our three sessions and writing completed outside the workshop, writers will produce a short story or scene or a flash memoir, or create a work that can be part of a larger project. You don’t have to be an experienced writer to join this workshop, just a passionate writer who is willing to tell the story that wants to be told. Writers of fiction and creative nonfiction are invited to participate.
