Happy Holidays from the Lively Muse

underwood holiday

May your days be merry and bright and may all your dreams and fantasies and mad imaginings find their way to life, on the page or otherwise.

I’m celebrating the New Year with a New Year’s Eve Writing Marathon. If your in or near San Diego, join us at The Ink Spot, 9 pm New Year’s Eve to 1 am New Year’s Day. And if you can’t make it in person, maybe you’ll write with us in virtual time and space. Let me know and we’ll send a greeting and a prompt.

Then on Sunday, January 3rd, I’ll be joining a lively group of writers and artists and visionaries for another Vision Board workshop. (More about that later)

Sending all best wishes for a warm and wonderful holiday and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

  1. Thank you Judy for the opportunity to participate in a virtual space and time, I’m far away from San Diego and I hope one day I’d be able to participate in your online workshops.

I write every day and New Year’s Eve is a special time, as said by Ellen, to look at the year is finishing and make the New Year resolutions.

I’d love to have a prompt and somehow join your group and writing community in a virtual way.

Thank you and Happy New Year !

    • Hi Patricia and Happy Holidays. I’ll be sure to provide a prompt from our New Year’s Eve marathon and see how we might connect virtually. Thanks for joining us!

  2. I love a greeting and a prompt from you Judy. I plan to sit in my cuddly space and write as I do every New Year’s Eve. My tree will be long gone by then. Or not. The pen and I will race across NoteBook with tales of what went right the past year, what went wrong, who entered our life, who left, what we did and with whom, and what we plan to do or to stop doing. You know, recap.

Merry Christmas and a blessed 2016.

  3. Judy – you are such an inspiration. I so wish that I lived in San Diego and can participate in so many of your wonderful workshops. Alas, I am still in Los Angeles and have not found anything close to what you offer. You’ve created a writing community. If there are any online courses I would love to participate. All the best! Ellen

    • Hi Ellen, Thanks for writing. Maybe you’ll decide to brave the freeways one day and drive down to San Diego and join us for one of the all-day or half-day workshops or retreats. Meantime, yes, online is coming in the New Year, though not sure exactly when. Happy New Year!
